365+ Days of pandemic portraits
On March 15, 2020 when our world as we knew it completely stopped, I started photographing and photographing (and photographing). Neighbors, friends, strangers, on the street, through windows, even from my car. I was on a mission ostensibly to “capture” the pandemic in my own vision, but my real mission was to stay sane, and with my long telephoto lens, get me safely out into the world every single morning (which actually started at noon).
My daily practice became a daily obsession, keeping me up until 2AM editing the images and then writing a rambling commentary as a companion.
Here is just a small sampling of this project. Thank you for looking at them.
