730+ days of Pandemic Portraits
On March 15, 2020 when our world as we knew it completely stopped, I started a whole new photographic path.
With no clients, no structure, no bread baking skills, I began to photograph from morning until way past dark everything and anything. I called them "Pandemic Portraits," but they were more like an opioid to keep me sane during a time when I had zero things to do.
Neighbors became friends, friends begat strangers, random people on the street shook their fist at me. Construction workers would throw out their cigarettes and stop talking on their phones.
Through lone workers through store windows, masked drivers through their car windows, and sometime when I was out of material I photographed through apartment windows. I did check with my lawyer to see if that was legal.
In the end over 3000 souls were captured. It sounds a little like McDonalds.
Here is just a small sampling of this project. Thank you for looking at them. Go to my instagram or call me up if you want to see more.
