ABOUT THE PANDEMIC PORTRAITS

On March 15, 2020, when our world as we knew it completely stopped, Mark started a whole new photographic path. With no clients, no structure, and no bread baking skills, he began to photograph the “Pandemic Portraits.” The pandemic is done (sort of) and the project is done (sort of), and the portraits now hang at Kickstand.

50% of all proceeds from this fundraiser will be directly donated to Food Link. Read our FAQs to learn more.

ABOUT FOODLINK

Food Link is a community organization based in Arlington, MA that rescues surplus fresh food that would otherwise be wasted and delivers it to community organizations serving 100,000 individuals throughout Greater Boston.

Food Link rescues 1.4 million pounds of food a year, partnering with 121 local grocers, food retailers, distributors, and farms to collect healthy, nourishing foods for distribution to their 108 partner agencies in the community. This is made possible by a corps of 300 regular volunteers who work alongside staff to collect, store, customize, and redistribute foods seven days per week.
